Dear Friends and Neighbors, In 2000, the Locust Valley Fire Department responded to over 600 emergency calls for help. These calls were answered by 105 experienced local men and women who provide quality and proficient fire and medical emergency services. Our members go through many hours of education, training, and certification each year to provide these services to our community. Our skilled volunteers serve you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, operating some of the most advanced life-saving equipment available. Many times, the volunteers are asked to perform their duties under dangerous circumstances or in the worst weather conditions possible. While the basic cost of Fire Prevention is provided by the tax structure, we depend on your donation during our Annual Fund Drive to help support department and community activities while promoting fellowship and motivation for members. Thank you for your consideration and assistance.
